  • 35% Peel Clinical Facial - Step by Step

Use this peel if there are concerns about dryness, fine lines, larger pores.  The client may experience some flaking depending on how long the peel is left on.  Great for anti-aging and resurfacing the skin.

It is recommended to do a series of 4– 6 treatments every 10 days—2 weeks.

Pre-care at home performed by client 2 – 4 weeks prior to peel
    Enzyme Cleanser AM/PM
    Pink Silk AM/PM
Micro Peel Crème 2-3 times per week
    Ultra-Shield SPF 30 AM
    Copper Co-Q10 Moisturizer PM

    1. Pre-Treatment
    • Remove all makeup and cleanse with Enzymatic Cleanser then pat dry.
    • Degrease skin with 70% alcohol or acetone, depending on oil content on face. This step is not necessary for those with normal to dry skin.
    • Apply eye pads
    • Apply a petroleum based product such as Vaseline to corners of mouth and lips. If clients have a risk of sensitivity, then you may wish to apply a small amount of product to the creases of the nasal area.

    1. Treatment
    • Apply Corrector Peel to the face with a fan brush starting at the forehead to check sensitivity. The patient may feel the sensation of tingling with this treatment. Ask the client on a scale of 1-10 to determine how long to leave the peel on 3-5 minutes according to response of skin. Continue to apply the Peel down the right and left sides of the face, chin, nose, and upper lip area.  You can also have the patient use a fan to relieve the tingling.  Never leave the client while the Peel is processing.
    • Some areas may turn red very quickly, according to sensitivity to acids. These are called “hot spots” and must be monitored. You may neutralize these areas with water. If you see blanching or frosting (skin turning white) you must neutralize these areas immediately.
    • Once the peel as been on for 3-5 minutes remove it with the Enzymatic Cleanser using tepid water and pat dry.

    1. Post Treatment
    • Apply a layer of Pink Silk followed by Blue Bomb Hydrating Gel Mask and leave on for 10 minutes.
    • Remove residue with soft cloth and tepid water and pat dry. Repeat this 2 times with clean water each time.
    • Apply a layer of Copper CoQ10 moisturizer followed by Ultra Shield Moisturizer SPF 30 during daylight hours.
